This piece, created this year (2020) throughout the pandemic, is a follow on from some of my previous abstract figure work. The bright pastel colouring makes it a welcome addition to an empty wall of a contemporary home. This artwork, 'Regal', is an abstract depiction of a person sitting on a chair and get's its name from the deep regal red that is a statement in the piece. This piece, in its intensity, is supposed to be eye grabbing and authentically emotive.
