This style of trees reminds me of how the clouds move in when you are on a mountain; skiing above or below the cloud level. The world seems to fade away and I’m cocooned in nature.
A palette knife was used to paint each of the trees so they stand up from the canvas, catch the light and provide texture.
Painted together, “Blue Mist Alpine (White to Blue)” and “Blue Mist Alpine (Blue to White)" are opposites and you can hang them on their own, side-by-side or in completely different rooms. Or gift one to a friend!
