This artwork was produced with alcohol ink on pure transparent linen canvas. The neutral tone of the canvas creates a subtle harmony with the mix of cool blues and sangria tones. The addition of a vibrant lime and copper adds contrast and interest in the work as well as contributing to the subtle sense of movement. I particularly enjoy the way alcohol ink spreads and layers when applied to a surface. While producing this work, I manipulated the ink through blowing air over it through a straw. The result is an aesthetically pleasing artwork that would suit any contemporary space.
