Bluethumb is an amazing online marketplace specialising in works by Australian artists. Through their site I discovered the work of Stephen Homewood, a Mackay artist whose works ark bold, colourful, a little confronting, and have subjects pulled from Australian history. And, for original artworks, a total bargain. We ensured that we had them professionally framed, and we have installed art rails throughout the house to allow us to move pieces around without leaving a bazillion holes in the walls. I will showcase these, and other works we have, a little in the 'after' photos. But until then, I encourage you to seek out something truly original.
