Oil on linen
Signed certificate of authenticity.
Artist Statement: With this painting I wanted to express freedom and hope that is an array of beautiful colours and lines.
This work is oil and acrylic on 100X97cm fine Belgian linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity. (The framer may be able to stretch this exactly square to 100X100 but I have cut the listed size down to 97 cm to give a generous amount of overhang to account for one side having the linen edge).
This work is sealed with a Conservationist Gloss Varnish which means you are able to wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth which will protect it and help preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn't yellow or crack with age and light. It is painted on Fine Belgian Linen. Linen provides a beautiful surface for the paint and is long lasting so gives the painting posterity for many hundreds of years.
The work is sent Unstretched (this is taken into account in the price) in a roll ready for stretching and or framing. Images of different frames are to give you an idea of what it looks like with a frame.
The work is painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides).
If you decide to add an exterior frame I suggest choosing a frame that matches your furniture. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of black trim choose a black frame.
Note on Framing: With framers the quality and prices of stretching and framing vary greatly. If you decide to get local quote and want to hang the painting with out an exterior frame ask for a stretching price - you will only need the size for a quote. If you want to hang with an exterior frame you are asking for a stretching and framing price.
All work over 100cm is sent via Pack and Send and under 100cm is sent via Australia Post Express
