I had a nightmare about the sadistic headmaster of my primary school. He was welsh, and would suddenly yell 'That boyyy!' and stride through the quivering class to pick on some hapless 8 yr old to drag to the front and whack on the bottom with his trusty 'slipper'. This was in the good old 50's.
I got up immediately and painted this, using myself in a mirror as a model for the man of learning.
