Inspiration to paint a portrait of this young musician Zaachariaha came over me after I was at a performance with him and his band members. His stage presence , performance and beauty within and without was compelling and profound. I enjoyed spending lots of time with him for the portrait sittings as he is a deep thinker and we had many a great conversation.
Portraits are always relèvent in art as they are an expression of our humanity and can remind us of our connectedness as human beings being a part of the whole.
