When we were up the Sunshine Coast for a holiday we took a day trip to Noosa National Park. It’s been a few years since we’ve been there and to make sure we got a car park arrived at 7.30am. The car park was of course full, but we were lucky to fluke a backpacker pulling out in his combi van. So off we went heading to Tea Tree Bay, dodging all the power walkers and surfboards. Stopped at Boiling Pot Lookout to take plenty of reference photos. If you were there on 23/10/23 you may be immortalised in my painting! Look at the sun shining on the side of the trees, pandanus, and the shadows on the path and far on the horizon the distant north shore.
