In one of my latest works " Spring Meadows " I invite viewers to experience the vibrant essence of nature through an abstract lens. This piece captures the fleeting beauty of spring, a season that symbolizes renewal and growth. This landscape is not a literal representation but rather an emotional interpretation of the meadows and fields that burst into life after the winter's slumber. The fluidity of the paint with its layered textures reflect the dynamic interplay of light and shadow, reminiscent of sunlight filtering through the leaves and dancing across the blooming flowers.
My hope that "Spring Meadows" inspires a sense of joy and tranquility reminding us of the beauty that surrounds us in our daily life.
I have mostly used a pastel pallet of pinks, greens, golds with splashes of contrast in magenta and yellow hues.
"Spring Meadows" can be framed if desired but as the paint flows effortlessly over the edges it is not necessary. Your choice. It has been coated with soft layers of archival varnish to enhance the colour and protect it from U V rays.
This painting will look stunning in any interior decor. I can envisage it placed in a bedroom (your sanctuary) or where ever you need to brighten up that special place in your home.
