This work on paper features a pair of my signature stylised cockatoos perched on a beautiful ghost gum in my favourite palette of Eucalyptus greens, greys, earth blush and grey/blue tones with accents of Yellow Ochre. Colour and composition play an important role in my art practice, for this piece I have carefully considered the use of white space and cool tones to capture the cleansed, fresh air feeling you get in your lungs and soul after spending time amongst the gumtrees on a bush walk.
