Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

This bright painting of a Lyrebird is the first work in a small series exploring unusual colour combinations not usually associated with Australian Flora and Fauna.

The second painting 'Mr Pink' is a painting of a Galah pictured together in this listing. I have been exploring triptychs and diptychs quite a bit lately. These two paintings work separately or wonderfully hung together as a pair. Their contemporary colours and flatness of the paint quality give the works a contemporary edge.
