This contemporary expressive painting of an Umbrella plant is adapted from a number of plein air plant and garden drawings from my holiday sketchbook.
Painted onto beautiful thick 650gsm textured watercolour paper (so there is no crinkling of the paper).
The last image features another work painted at the same time - also for sale on Bluethumb "Umbrella Plant no.2" I thought they looked good hung as a pair.
