Artwork Description

How gorgeous are White Waratahs? I love the red ones too. I'm currently experimenting with new mediums such as this Acrylic Gouache on Belgian linen. This piece almost feels like a screen print due to the deliciously rich flat finish of the opaque paint. These new mediums are dictating the direction of my work at the moment.

I really like the resulting simplicity of this still life painting which focusses on shape, composition and colour.

This work has been professionally framed in a birch box frame (no glass) and is ready to hang.
