The work-hardened wisdom on this very Aussie face was the inspiration for the painting. He was photographed in a magazine story about the outback and his slightly suspicious gaze had a haunting quality.
All proceeds from my art sales goes to HoMie - a not-for-profit organisation in Melbourne providing training and employment to young people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
