Crater Bluff seems to be more than a rock formation, it has the presence of a living entity in the surrounding landscape. It's part of the Warrumbungle ranges that evokes an intense power, like a creature is emerging from the surface of the earth. I like to explore the raw and primal landscape that we live in here, Australia's natural beauty is very brutal and alien compared to other parts of the world in my opinion. For me Crater Bluff encapsulates that raw and unrefined beauty we are surrounded by in this country. I would suggest everyone see's it at least once in their life, we often forget the incredible place that we live in...explore it.
