Artwork Description

Acrylic on wood

Signed on the back.

This is an interpretive portrait of the Character Charlie Spring as read/seen in "Heartstopper". A teenage boy straddles the world of childhood and adulthood, openly gay, listening to his friend and new boyfriend reflect on the difficulties of knowing where he fits... Charlie shows great understanding, patience and acceptance of his friend Nick's journey.
This is a many layered piece, symbolising the many layers we uncover on our journey to adulthood and intimate relationships.
