Born into a creative family, involved in the "Arts", Sandra's childhood was a starting point for her interests in dance and drawing. She later studied Visual Arts, majoring in Advertising and started exhibiting her work some time later.

Winning many prestigious awards and commendations, exhibiting and selling became accessible after postponing her art career due to family and work commitments. Sandra now prefers to sell and promote her work using online galleries in Australia and overseas.

Throughout her journey she has participated in many workshops and demonstrations with outstanding tutors and mentors who have provided invaluable instruction, with "Life Drawing" being her mainstay of development skills.

At present she enjoys painting a diversity of subjects in many different mediums as a way of challenging herself to create works of a high standard, whether realism or abstract. Her inspiration for self expression is a spontaneous reaction to color, movement and atmosphere, resulting in an uplifting and enjoyable experience for the viewer.
