The iconic Boab Tree of the Kimberley region of Western Australia has been a continual inspiration to my work after I first visited this region of Australia over 20 years ago. The stunning tree has a feminine spirit and is reflected in my depiction of the tree and shadow. I see the tree as a reminder of our connection to Mother Earth and her outstretched arms are all encompassing.
