Sarina Diakos is a South Australian based artist who has been creating abstract paintings since graduating with a Visual Arts Honours Degree in 2011. Sarina’s body of work centres around conceptualising connections of beauty with colour inspired by the world around her. Seeking to capture the clarity and vibrance of light that is particular to the part of the world she lives in, her aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating the intensity of colour harmonics that draw the viewer inwards towards a meditative space. The use of these colours is a signature to her paintings.
