Why are there so many confused, lost and lonely people in societies that seem to be on the top of human civilisation, technical and cultural progress? So connected yet so far from each other? What are our new roles in families and partnerships, and how do we fit in each other’s lives?

This artwork opens a series of paintings that I am creating at the moment, trying to portray feelings I experience myself and observe in those around me.
