This painting will appear different under different lighting and angles. As the painting is covered in gold paint and an iridescent medium, when light shines at or towards the painting, it will be shimmering in gold. Whereas, when the painting is viewed under shade or indirect lighting, the gold sheen and iridescent shimmer become very subtle and the background color of orange becomes more dominant. This is a unique characteristic of this painting which makes the viewing experience in real life very interesting, offering a different perspective from every angle. This painting is also highly textured, adding to its already complex character.
