This is very textured oil painting. This beautiful painting is inspired by the lakelands and waterways of the coast of NSW. The use of Totem shapes and tools to represent the presence of wind in the landscape is a familiar theme I like working with. The work is created with the use of palette knives and a sgrafitto effect , a technique ofscratching back a layer of colour to reveal a contrasting colour underneath.

The painting has been created with Australian made Art Spectrum Professional Artists oil paint on stretched gallery wrapped Linen Canvas on a timber support. Painted on the edges and finished with Art Spectrum Gloss Varnish to protect and enhance the painting. The painting has hanging points for both track systems and a single hanging point.
