There’s a special moment when I pick up my paintbrush, and the world around me fades into the background. My studio is a place where I can explore, experiment, and express what words often can’t.

My work is inspired by the magic found in nature's simplest details — the texture of sun-bleached sand, the rough warmth of clay, and the way light shifts across a room at the end of the day. Using an earthy, minimalist palette of washed ochres, chalky whites, and soft terracotta hues, I build up the layers, creating tactile topographies using raw sand and earth pigments. Then, I intuitively scrape and etch back into the layers to reveal the hidden colours and marks underneath.
