This Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo represents the constant battle I have with Anxiety. I hide behind my art, express my thoughts through colour and struggle with procrastination in putting paint to canvas. The blue tones, the splashy, almost itchy splatters and the peering eye behind the feathers represent the creature (anxiety), a creature that I am learning to tame and appreciate the gifts it has brought. This painting reminds me of my inner strength and determination.
