I remember as a child we often had birds visit our pet cockatoo. It was always exciting to find new visitors show up on our doorstep from the forests around us in Papua New Guinea. My most memorable feathered visitor was a toucan. He came often and was not shy, often observing us kids whilst we play in the yard and waiting for a handout of fresh fruit.
