Mixed Media on stretched canvas, ready to hang.

I love to take photos of architectural elements when I travel especially doors, windows and old ruins. This is No. 2 in a set of 3 featuring some of the photos taken on my travels in Ireland. The large doorway is from the ruins of Clonmacnoise Abbey. I've used collage pieces that support this architectural theme such as line drawings and plans. Also included is textural papers and applied texture with molding paste. The large shapes I've stencilled remind me of the ancient ruins and fences built from rocks and stone found throughout the Irish countryside.
This artwork is finished with several layers of satin varnish for added protection.
I've included a photo showing this piece hanging with the other two in this series all available separately.
