The coronavirus pandemic of 2019/2020 has taken us to strange new ways of living and interacting. Whilst we always knew this time would come, I don't think any of us quite expected it to be quite like this. Things definitely feel weird. This is a self portrait which attempts to capture my sense of the surreal, the unexpected, the isolation and the fear. At the same time I have used bright colours to instill some optimism and a muted calm background that suggests that we will return again to more familiar times.
