Do you know that feeling when you can turn down the noise, shut out the rest of the world, and completely focus on the moment of time you're in...where you are...and who you're with? It tends to happen when I'm with a loved one on a big empty beach; the vast ocean in front of us - only interrupted by a lone boat offshore - and an infinite blue sky above us.

The teeny tiny figures are barely there, but the enormity of the coast around them evokes a sense of contentment, peace and calm. A feeling that you can face anything, endure anything, as long as you have them by your side. This emotive little seascape captured that moment for me.

Created with palette knives on 12 oz stretched polycotton canvas, it is framed in a solid handcrafted Tas Oak frame. It comes satin varnished and with a COA.
