To me, the Sea is not something you can tame or capture perfectly, so in this piece of art I have reached for the unpredictable nature of the sand, sea, sky and wind. I like that it lends itself to interpretation. It has a wild feeling to it that one might feel deep within while experiencing a walk on a deserted beach.

There are layers of scraped back acrylic paint, reveling hidden colours and textures. Energetic mark making and painted stripes and splatters complement the layered background to create a really interesting yet appealing artwork.
A tall thin palm tree is a focus point, slightly bent within the windswept seascape.
