Walking on Boulders Beach in the Northern Rivers are, where there always seems to be a sea-eagle soaring overhead and the sound of the waves crashing on the worn large pebbles is what inspired me towards creating this artwork, even though it really could be anywhere. Its the energy of the art, not the geographic destination which is intended.
Blended painterly strokes and layered watery acrylic paint, complemented by rapid mark making creates this peaceful, simplistic almost abstract, appealing artwork.
The frame sits flush with the canvas, it's a simple 1cm wide timber which has been made to look weathered and coastal.
