My inspiration for this piece comes from the diverse colours and texture of Cone flowers (Echinacea). Using a luscious background of yellow, red and ochre makes the black and eggplant cone flowers with the gold stamens hover over the foreground.
This is an original artwork using alcohol inks on synthetic paper and is sealed with varnish and UV protectant.
