Spent two weeks in Hamburg. Such a lovely city with more than 2400 bridges! We love to take a walk around the Alster and watch all the activities on the water: sailing clubs, standing paddles, rowing, canoeing. So much fun!

I found this nice corner which offers wonderful views over the water and I happened to be there when the Greenwich sailing club did their weekly race. It was a gorgeous evening, the setting sun lit up the white sails gliding through the sea of purple flowers. It was so perfect that it almost seemed unreal. After that, I make sure I am there on the sailing day every week in the jacaranda season. And every time I wish I live in this dream house :)What a gorgeous day for some plein air and I don’t need to go far. The former quarantine boat depot in the picturesque Balls Head Península makes a wonderful subject. Only the floating clouds and a curious bee attracted by the smell of my oil paint 😀My only weekend in Auckland was dedicated to hiking. Te Henga is definitely the highlight. What a fantastic group and gorgeous views along the Wild West coast of Auckland. Had a wonderful holiday with friends in a lovely accomodation surrounded by vineyards. Gorgeous view at every angle. Love the golden hour when the sun rises over the wine yards.
