Artwork Description

A summer day, a good book and the sound of the water breaking behind you. Heaven. Much prefer paper versions of books myself. Edges painted white and ready to hang. Please note that this is not on my usual heavy weight canvas. With Covid I've had supply issues and have been working on what's been available. It's priced accordingly.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
