Artwork Description

It's rare for me to score a vintage map to work on that actually shows my local beach so I had to do a version of our nippers in our club colours. Our community may be small, but our surf club is very well supported! Working on these very old maps means accepting small wrinkles and imperfections but that's part of their history.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
