Artwork Description

Eight or nine years ago I experimented with oil on paper or fabric and stitching through layers of sewing pattern and book pages, as well as the 12 oz canvas. I said I'd never try it again- FAR too time consuming. However I've discovered a few new adhesives and methods that solve past issues and am trying again to mix things up. Working small to sort out my ideas, but have bigger plans in the offing. A couple of small works coming first. I've turned the fabric around the edges of the canvas for continuity. When sold, Bluethumb makes this available as a large print.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
