Artwork Description

These 1980s maps have had a life and they show signs of it. I like that they've been used, it's part of their story. Even though they've been superceded by GPS, there's still a way to reuse them, all while respecting their original form. Applied to canvas and lightly sprayed with varnish. Ready to hang or be sent to the framers if you so choose to be put under glass. Map continues around edges.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
