Looking at the facade of a house evokes many thoughts.

I enjoyed this quote as it conjures some of the magic we may experience when looking at houses.

Houses..They are filled with memories, with the faded echoes of voices. Drops of tears, drops of blood, the ring of laughter, the edge of tempers that had ebbed and flowed between the walls, into the walls, over the years.

The shade of the garden trees give delightful patterning. The window of the cottage are reflecting the trees, hills and blue sky… the world beyond . Houses are like the outside of a treasure chest with jewels hidden within. We can imagine the intrigue of the story of the house, and those who have spent time within those walls. The terracotta pots hold pretty flowers which give a little splash of colour.
