Artwork Description

I was inspired to create this to give hope to a wonderful organisation helping street families in Bali. With lack of tourism countries such as Bali, it’s people and animals have been massively impacted.
As I was due to travel there this year and cannot, I have instead enjoyed creating a scene from a photo reference combined with my imagination through brush and paint.

Artist Bio

I’ve had a fondness and fascination with colours and sketching since childhood, I recall gifting teachers with sketches in 3rd grade and pausing the video whilst playing recorded Disney cartoons I tried to duplicate.

I completed a Visual Arts diploma in 2016 after getting back into sketching for enjoyment and meditation, and am once again addicted to the escapism found in sketching and colouring.

My background the past 20+ years has been massage therapy, where I find myself 'moulding muscles' like a sculptor would.

I find great interest in the relationship between animals & man, how we can live together cohesively on this crazy planet.

I adore soulful music and a warm spirit in hand, this moody feel will come out in works to come, likely using coffee, red wine and beetroot juice on water colour paper.
