This series aims to convey the energy inherent in the earth that we stand upon. This energy is a culmination of the history that embodies the shifting layers of the land created over centuries of change. This series aims to convey the energy inherent in the earth that we stand upon. This energy is a culmination of the history that embodies the shifting layers of the land created over centuries of change. The story of the land is told through the layering of transparent washes and brushwork which is scraped back and then layered again, over and over, in a similar way to the evolution of the earth beneath us.

Woven Earth is a combination of greens, blues, mustard and lemon, with a touch of navy. She's painted on a quality stretched canvas. The image wraps around the 3.8cm sides so she's ready to hang.

All paintings are finished in 2 coats of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.
