Grampians National Park in Western Victoria (Dunkeld). View from the top of Mt Sturgeon (well worth the hike). We went up in June in between COVID lock-downs in Victoria while visiting family. We felt very grateful to have the opportunity to experience this part of the world at this time and this is what this painting reflects. Bright optimism, warmth but with an overlay of strong dark (but not overwhelming) shadows.

This work is not framed but includes a wire to hang. I would recommend a light frame with this one in a lighter colour so not to bring out the darker shapes in the painting.
