Splashes of pink and red tulips swaying in the breeze. Some are backlit by sunlight and appear almost translucent and ethereal. This is such a touch of natural happiness to bring harmony and a calming influence.

My influence for this park was the Dutch masters and still life paintings of tulips and I’ve taken them from the vase and put them back in their natural environment in a fresh celebration of their beauty when awash with sunlight.

The painting has been continued around the sides so a frame is not necessary as the artwork is ready to hang without a frame.
