ANTI-FREEZE ACTIVITY is an original acrylic painting on canvas.

The idea for this painting came about about the time of my daughter's wedding. She had invited a number of cousins and friends over to a house we rented in the country . It was in the middle of winter and very cold. The old brick bathroom was a warm place with a fireplace under the bath - something we'd not encountered before. The young had been having a few drinks and were skylarking about and a few of them ended up warming up in the hot bath water. The three figures are modified and have exaggerated feet and long limbs as they raise their glasses in a toast! I have tried to capture the hilarity of the moment.

I have tried to capture the warmth of the bathroom in earthy tones.
