Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

My Australian answer to Monets Poppy fields paintings... this was inspired by the first time I saw Sturt Desert peas growing wild and there were acres of them, it was a fantastic sight. This is one of the favourite paintings with visitors to my studio, these flowers mean a lot to people in this region, so very often they also have a personal story to tell about these wonderful flowers.
