Suzy has a strong affinity with the environment. She believes in this fast paced, over connected world, many of us have become a little lost. She feels our natural environment has a great deal to offer the human spirit if we stop long enough to absorb what it has to say. To be present in nature is incredibly soothing to one’s soul.
Suzy strives to create beautiful artworks of the natural environment that bring this sense of peace into our living and workspaces. She works hard to create paintings that speak of the beauty that exists in the world.
Suzy has two hands to her art practice. In one she recreates places as she sees them in a more representational form. The other is a more intuitive hand, a combination of fluid forms & orbs interwoven with the more familiar elements of our natural world. Flecked with gold, the complex colour layers have visual depth, drawn to the landscape in all of her works these pieces are a snapshot of another world, another place, another way.
Suzy works full time on both styles of artwork out of her Southwest based Studio and is represented by Gallery’s in both Western Australia, and Queensland.
