This queen is spectacular, naturally beautiful and adorned with bling. In Western Australia, two of our black cockatoos, the Baudin and the Carnaby are endangered with the Baudin listed as critically endangered. I chose to embellish the painting of the bird with sequins and gems to highlight the preciousness of these birds, they truly are rare jewels worth protecting.
