I grew up in Northern NSW.
My sister & I loved spending time in Byron Bay when we were teenagers. As the years went on my sister’s fave beach became Wategos.
Sadly, my sister passed away some time ago.. whenever I go home to visit… my sisters family all say.. “let’s go to Wategos to visit Belinda” … hence the name.
