We are not our Ego mind although it would convince us we are. We, our true self is behind, beneath, below or above & beyond the Ego. We think we are our thoughts, beliefs and emotions, but these are just mere extensions of our Ego parading as 'self'. Our Ego's and thought projections are the cause of all suffering for all mankind, throughout the ages. Wars, violence, disconnection are all extensions of our false selves...the Ego. A life well lived will be one which finds us committed to lifting the veil of the ego to discover our true self...pure essence...awareness...bliss. It's not easy but it is possible.
The girl on the left is the the unrealised self. The veiled society influenced self only showing that which is acceptable and preferred. Ego led and self conscious. The girl on the right has done the work and dipped down beneath ego and touched soul and has evolved in consciousness. She is guided by the universe and her hand is held by the many entities she has discovered on her journeying. She is one with Owl and together they guide their other self through living a human life...
