'Twilight Wren' is my personal favorite of my Last Light series. It's an original encaustic triptych, created to evoke a feeling of being immersed in nature. I find it meditative and calming, as all the lines are soft and the colors are muted, and there's a dreamy, mistiness that represents the cool, softened edges that twilight brings.

I'm known for my ethereal triptychs, which I create by burning 50-60 layers of beeswax and resin into wooden panels, with oils, pastels and waxes embedded between each layer. This triptych is a perfect example of my work, as it brings the outdoors indoors and carries you away into another world. I hope you love it as much as I do.
