I am influenced by the great impressionists in the use of light and colour to capture a fleeting moment in time. My painting depicts a lone swimmer, lost in thought as she gazes out to the horizon and setting sun. I have chosen a palette of beautiful oranges, pinks and green to depict the water and the sun as it sets on the horizon.

The sides are painted and the painting is ready to hang.
