We have a beautiful coast line in W.A.
I love that we have a few ships near shore near where I live, that are now an eco system for fish and aquatic fauna. So close to shore that people can grab a mask and flippers and enjoy it too.
I was inspired to create a painting of what could be a future reef.
I have made this painting with texture, as I try to do all the time.
That way, my husband who is blind, can feel the painting.
I used many, many glazes to achieve this look...the feeling like you can see the ships in their decay...some above water, some below.
